The content is what one would expect for a local paper—I like the hiking articles—but the ads are poorly behaved and stupid. I hate how, when reading an article, an ad will change size and shove away what I'm reading, for some gimmick that only the most gullible mainstream trash reader would tap on. And now there are fullscreen popups, too—from a publication I'm paying a subscription for! ProJo should stop treating their subscribers like idiots, and I'll cancel my subscription if they don't.

I want to see news. Not sports. Not obituaries. News. They have what they "top stories". Which is a mix of everything, but no pure news category. The app is stupid. I am forced to read it in a browser, which is hard on the phone. I wish there were another paper to read.

Every other "article" is an advertisement that looks like a story. Stopped using the app awhile ago a just tried to cancel my subscription. Can't cancel from the app, can't cancel from online, only way to cancel is by calling in, and they close after 2pm est.
